Creating multiple wins
At a time when some of the most beautiful places in the world are being destroyed by thoughtless developments that damage environments, we believe the time is ripe to set a standard for a new type of development. A development where the needs and desires of the local people are evenly balanced and integrated with environmental considerations and the needs and desires of visitors and investors.
In this case we believe that size does matter. In order to create a powerful catalyst for sustainable change we have obtained areas large enough to guarantee its environmental integrity. A world-leading team of experts makes sure that sustainable building and development rules are in place and the environment is protected. Through joint venture businesses we invite the local communities to take advantage of the benefits this change will bring.
With over 1,100 ha of land in Lombok and Sumbawa being developed by Eco Regions and its partners this is not only the largest ecotourism development in Indonesia, but also includes sustainable agroforestry and fisheries, medical, health and wellness partnerships, eco-industries, sustainable energy and transport etc. The aim is to create a blueprint for sustainable change that has a significant impact on regional development.
We now welcome individuals, companies and institutions to partner with us to manifest this change.

Our vision is to change the way people think about sustainable development
The start of the journey
Our journey started in 2010 when we were invited by the East Lombok Regency to develop Tanjung Ringgit. In 2013 we finalised Indonesia’s first integrated sustainable master plan, the land utilisation permit was granted, and the master plan was given as a gift by the Swedish Prime Minister to the Indonesian President. West Sumbawa Regency liked the master plan and the second ecoregion in the Eight Islands in Poto Tano was born.
In 2014 local corruption put a stop to our building plans and we spent a decade clearing up illegal land certificates and land occupation with support from the local community, provincial agencies and the national government. The Groundbreaking Ceremony in November 2023 was a long-awaited milestone and we are now constructing the first enclave of 100 eco-villas, which will be followed by glamping, an eco-marina and health and wellness facilities.
